Election offences

Greater Manchester Police will investigate allegations of electoral offences.  Details of legislation, including the Representation of the People Act can be found via the electoral commission website.

So that any report can be assessed and recorded properly, it is vital that they are submitted through the correct procedure.

Reports of election offences can be made via:

calling 999 - in an emergency where there is immediate threat to life or property
calling 101 - for non emergencies

or online at gmp.police.uk (there is a live chat function)

We cannot accept reports via email or any other means.
