What we do
- we cut grass on council land to ensure that people can use roads and pavements safely
- we cut verges and open spaces once per month between April and October
- many larger areas not used for sport are now left uncut
- grass next to high speed roads (50 miles per hour and over) and dual carriageways are cut twice a year
