Updated Coronavirus FAQs
The government has updated the FAQs which outline what you can and can't do until - and after - the 4th of July.
National guidance documents
A number of documents were updated last week including:-
- guidance for the public on mental health and wellbeing
- staying safe outside of your home
- working safely during Coronavirus
- meeting people outside of your household from 4 July
- staying alert and safe (social distancing)

Find a GP/local NHS service
Should you need to find a GP or an NHS service locally, use the NHS app or find the details on the NHS website.
Don’t put your child at risk by missing their vaccinations
It’s important to keep up to date with your child’s injections. If you’ve had an invitation through the post or a text from your GP in the last two weeks, or if you know their vaccinations are due, phone your GP practice about attending an appointment.

Parents can register births again after lockdown restrictions lifted
New parents can now register the birth of their child again in Bolton (strictly by appointment only) as lockdown restrictions due to coronavirus have eased. Call 01204 331185 to book an appointment.
Household waste recycling centres
From today you are able to visit your local recycling centre in a transit van (under 2 metres high) to bring your household waste.
No trailers are allowed. Most items are being accepted - for the full list of what you can take and opening times are available online.
Please note when attending Hurstwood Court that queues are likely - try to visit Salford Road where possible.
