If you have some time to spare and would like to support your local library and museum service, we can offer several great opportunities to volunteer. Volunteering will allow you to:

  • Learn new skills in a supportive environment.
  • Gain useful work experience whilst helping others.
  • Add to your C.V. - we will be happy to act as a reference in the future.
  • Work towards a Duke of Edinburgh Award or a Youth Achievement Award.

Work Experience

We offer short placements for 14-16 year old students (term time only).

If you would like to be considered for a one week placement at one of our libraries or museums please apply by completing the Work Experience Application Form.
