Do you know someone who needs free support finding work or help improving their skills?

Skills for Employment is a Greater Manchester Programme which offers free one to one support, training, qualifications, work experience and help finding the perfect job.

Around 40% of people who enrolled on the scheme have found work since it started in 2016.

Participants need to be:

  • aged 19+
  • 18+ if in receipt of out of work benefits on the day they start on the programme
  • unemployed
  • not in full time education
  • or with limited recent employment experience.

The Workshop has supported hundreds of people through the programme, including Jayesh and Sarah.

The workshop gave me the confidence to believe in myself. I love my job and look forward to going to work every day. Jayesh
