The Workshop

Do you know someone who needs free support finding work or help improving their skills?

Skills Support for Employment is a Greater Manchester Programme which offers free one to one support, training, qualifications, work experience and help finding the perfect job.

Participants need to:

  • have a valid National Insurance number
  • be at least 19 years old
  • have a home postcode within Greater Manchester, or be able to access support within Greater Manchester
  • unemployed (including not in receipt of benefits), or claiming Univeral Credit and not in full-time education.
  • have limited recent experience of employment, and a skills or training need that prevents you from finding long-term employment

The Workshop has supported hundreds of people through free support including Jayesh and Sarah.

The workshop gave me the confidence to believe in myself. I love my job and look forward to going to work every day. Jayesh
