What do I do if I want to employ a child?
You must register the child with us.
The application (PDF 120KB) is quick and easy and there is guidance (PDF 127KB) available on the hours of employment and types of work the child is allowed to do.
You will have to carry out a risk assessment (PDF 69KB) and share it with the parent and the child.
