Bolton's Community Champions

Who is a Community Champion?

Anybody can be a Community Champion! You don’t need any fancy qualifications or even any experience at all. You just need to care about your local community and want to make a difference.

We want to help raise the health and wellbeing of Bolton residents by creating a network of Community Champions that may wish to share their newfound knowledge with their local community. This can be with individuals, family, friends, neighbours, work colleagues, etc. With no minimum commitment, this knowledge can be shared however you wish, as you go about your normal everyday life!

If you are passionate about helping people, have a positive can-do attitude and want to make a real difference in your community then you’d be perfect!

What is a Community Champion?

Community Champions is a scheme set up in April 2021 to break down barriers and get important information into communities. If you are interested in one or more of these roles, we can offer you free training and courses to support you in the community, but you are under no obligation to complete them.
