Handy person

Bolton Care and Repair's Handy Person Service is available to home owners who are aged 60 and over, you can also access the service if you are under 60 a home owner and are in receipt of Disability Living Allowance or Personal Independence Payment.

The cost of the Service is £15 per hour to a maximum of two or three hours dependant on the works. All materials are to be paid for.

We can service a gas fire for £25 and service a boiler for £45.

We are not able to offer a decorating or gardening service. Also we do not carry out pointing/ plastering work, fit floor covering, remove large items such as furniture from your home, mend appliances or carry out work to your roof and loft area.

The Handy Person is a popular service and as such there is a waiting list, therefore we are not able to carry out works if they are of an urgent nature.
