The council recgonises that the web site is an important tool for interaction with its customers be they Residents, Businesses or Visitors for information, service access and delivery, consultation and engagement. You will be seeing many more features come to life on the site as we continue to improve the site, with your feedback.
We have provided a feedback form on every page and we hope you will take a small amount of time to tell us what you think of the content. This feedback goes straight to the people who create the page in the relevant service and also forms part of a management report to the Council's performance management team.
You can see from the link on the right hand side that we receive over 400, 000 unique visits, every month, to the site and this figure continues to rise. So we understand it is a favourite channel for you to contact the council and we will work with you to make it better and better.

Annually the Society of Information Managers (SOCITM) perform a benchmarking exercise on all Local Authority web sites, this year Bolton was awarded three stars, out of a possible four stars. The exercise rates the site for usability based on over 100 questions and provides independant accessibility testing by RNIB and Sitemorse.
