Schools and colleges 

In Bolton there are ninety five primary schools, seventeen secondary schools, six special schools, four nursery schools and many primary schools with nursery classes.  Contact details, admission criteria, DCSF performance tables and OfSTED reports of all the local authority schools can be accesses through the School Directory links on right.

Now is a very exciting time for Bolton as we are set to receive millions of pounds worth of funding for rebuilding and refurbishing a number of our schools across the town.  At Bolton Council we want our plans to reflect the needs and views of Bolton’s pupils, parents, schools, councillors, partners and members of the community.  See the links to the right for more information and how you can get involved in the consultations taking place.
