Bolton Play Service
Play is essential to every child's development, happiness and wellbeing. The role of Bolton Play Service is to work together with children and their families to help them access play and childcare opportunities across Bolton.
There are play schemes before-school, after-school and during school holidays for children aged from 4 to 13 years old. We also help local groups to set up their own schemes with advice, guidance and funding – including access to our own Play Resource Centre.
All of the schemes provide a variety of fun activities including arts, crafts, sports and games as well as day trips and outings. A homely environment is provided so your child can have fun or just relax in a quiet area. All our schemes are inclusive and have implemented the inclusive playcare model. All children/young people need to be registered on scheme and children aged 4 and 5 years must be signed in and out of the scheme by a named adult.
