Service 500 - Bolton’s free Metroshuttle bus service is jointly funded by Bolton Council and TfGM.
Two distinctive 28-seater single decker buses operate every 15 minutes, between 9am and 5pm from Monday to Saturday, covering a circular route of around three miles around the town centre and serving 15 bus stops.
The route links shops, offices and car parks with the market, the college campus on Deane Road and the Shopmobility service based at Topp Way multi-storey car park. You can view a map of the route in the Downloads section above.
The buses have low floor accessibility for wheelchairs and buggies and are designed to the latest standards for reduced carbon emissions.
