The centre is located on Lord Street in the Kearsley ward, in close proximity to St John’s Primary and two local secondary schools.

What services can parents and children access at the centre?

The centre offers a range of integrated services for families with children under the age of five years. These services are referred to as the ‘core offer’ and include:

  • Antenatal /postnatal care
  • Health services
  • Links to Job Centre Plus
  • Education and childcare
  • Family Support
  • Parent and child activities
  • Community cafe
  • Information on a wide range of services

Does the centre have a nursery on site?

Yes. Grosvenor Nursery School is an established local nursery school with an excellent reputation, providing high quality care and education for two, three and four year olds. We have 90 free part-time places (45 morning places, 45 afternoon places).

Our highly qualified and experienced teachers and nursery nurses provide a high quality and stimulating environment with an exciting and structured curriculum,  based within the 'Early Years Foundation Stage'.

Our newly extended Day Care provides high quality day care and before and after school provision at affordable prices for children aged six weeks to four years.

In December 2012 we were awarded Ofsted's 'Outstanding' Grade for our provision.
