Many of our activities are focused around children and young people understanding and valuing their communities. We take a multi-agency approach utilising the skills of statutory and voluntary partners including Greater Manchester Police (GMP), Sport and Active Living and Greater Manchester Fire and Rescue Service, to support children and young people's health and well-being.

4-12? Want to play?

Free and safe child centred play provision across the borough offering activities within local communities for children and young people aged 4-12 years old. There are opportunities after school and during holidays where children and young people can take part in lots of different fun activities including: arts and crafts, drama, trips, residential and accredited activities.

To ensure the highest quality service, we are signed up to the Ofsted or Voluntary Register for all of our play schemes. All staff are DBS checked (previously known as CRB).

On the first visit the parent/carer must accompany the child/young person to the session and complete a registration form.

Children under the age of 7 must be signed in and out of the scheme by a named adult who is 16 years and over.

Places on sessions are issued on a first come - first served basis.
