Relatives and professionals are full of praise for Wilfred Geere House, in Farnworth.
Following a recent inspection by the Care Quality Commission (CQC), the short term respite care home has received a 'Good' rating for the services it provides.
The home cares for people with or without dementia and offers families a break from caring for their loved ones.
The report, which is published on the CQC website, features comments from both professionals and relatives, including the fact that the home has a 'nice atmosphere' and that 'staff are lovely'.
One professional said that they were confident that anyone they place at Wilfred Geere would receive 'good quality care'.
Bolton Council’s Cabinet Member for Adult Safeguarding and Adult Social Care, Cllr Asif Ibrahim, said: “Once again we are pleased to congratulate staff on yet another fantastic inspection report by the Care Quality Commission. Wilfred Geere House in Farnworth has been rated as good across the board by CQC and the praise for everyone who works there is well-deserved.
“The home offers short term respite care for people with or without dementia and we are very proud to hear that residents’ families are more than satisfied with the care their loved ones receive. It is also nice for the staff to hear that professionals are happy to place residents there, confident that they will receive ‘good quality care. ”
