An event showing how adult learning can transform lives will take place in the Festival Hall, Bolton on Thursday, March 25.
The event has been organised by Bolton Adult Learners Week Group and Bolton FM and celebrates the success of their Tune into Learning project.
The project has been funded by the Adult Learning Transformation Fund and aims to revitalise interest in adult learning and promote its benefits.
At the Festival Hall there will be a variety of stalls where people can sign up to a range of adult learning opportunities and the chance to chat to Bolton FM.
There will also be successful adult learners on hand to share their inspirational stories.
The event, which runs from 11am to 2pm, is free to attend and open to adult learners but places are limited.
To book in advance contact Ann Dwyer whose details are on the right hand panel.
Adult Learners’ Week runs from May 15 to 21 and is now in its 19th year.
Throughout the week there will be a variety of free events taking place across Bolton; from computer and crafts workshops to life drawing and DIY taster sessions.
