The bus interchange on Trinity Street will not be operating and alternative pick-up points have been identified by GMPTE. Visit their website for full details:

Shops and businesses:

We are doing all we can to help ensure business as usual for town centre businesses. We are speaking to town centre businesses, bus companies and taxi operators directly to keep them informed. It’s up to each individual business to make their own decision about what arrangements they want to make for the day.

Bolton market is open for business as usual.  Outside traders have not opened their stalls but the inside market is open.

Young people:

Letters are being sent to parents of all primary and secondary school pupils, through the schools. These advise parents to think carefully about letting their children into the town centre on 20 March as it would be safer for children and young people to stay away.
