Tickets to see celebrity chefs performing live at the Bolton Food and Drink Festival are now on sale.
A four-day foodie spectacular is on the menu from Friday, August 24 to Monday, August 27.
Fans of baking royalty Mary Berry and Paul Hollywood, and chefs James Martin and Jean Christophe-Novelli, can all book a seat to ensure they get a slice of the action.
On the first evening of the festival, Friday, August 24, there is the chance to dine in the company of artisan baker Paul Hollywood.
The celebrity chef and judge on The Great British Bake Off will be guest of honour at a special six-course gala dinner at The Albert Halls. Paul will entertain guests with a pre-dinner speech.
Tickets are priced at £45 and include a six-course meal accompanied by fine wines selected by Gerrard Seel Wine Merchants of Cheshire.
On Saturday, August 25, Paul will be joined by Mary Berry for a series of baking demos. On Sunday, August 26, French chef Jean Christophe-Novelli will entertain crowds and Yorkshire chef James Martin will cook on the final day.
All demonstrations take place at 11am, 1pm and 3pm and the shows last 40 minutes. Tickets cost £5. Please note Paul Hollywood will be baking by himself at the 11am show.
Tickets available via the Albert Halls box office or from the Bolton Food and Drink Festival website.
Michelin-starred chef Michael Caines will open this year’s festival on Friday, August 24. There is no charge for his shows.
The festival, which last year pulled in an estimated 94,000 visitors, has been organised by Bolton Council, and is sponsored by Bluemantle and Bolton College.
Leader of Bolton Council, Councillor Cliff Morris, said: "The festival attracts thousands of visitors from across the country and is one of our main events.
“We have a really good mix of chefs coming this year and I’d advise everyone to reserve their seats early so they aren’t left disappointed.”
A speciality market will take over Victoria Square and surrounding streets with food, drinks and craft products from local, regional, and specialist traders.
A number of top chefs will also be doing free cookery demos at Bolton Market and The Market Place Shopping Centre.
