Football fans will get the chance to meet former professional player Carl Davenport on Saturday, May 21.

The former Bolton Wanderers, Preston and Wigan player will give a talk about his book The Dav: Anecdotes and Stories from Inside and Outside the Box.

The event will take place at the Lecture Theatre at Bolton Museum and Library, Le Mans Crescent, from 1pm to 2.30pm.

Admission is free, but please book in advance, by calling 01204 332211.
