An acrobatic comedy dance act will be amusing shoppers at this Saturday’s (27/3) free town centre event.
Strictly Dumb Prancing will be showcasing their acrobatic feats - from somersaults to handstands - and dubious tango dancing, together with a huge helping of comedy.
The act will appear on Victoria Square with three performances starting at noon, 1pm and 2pm.
Councillor John Byrne, Bolton Council’s Executive Member for Development, said: “Visitors should expect to be amazed with the talents of this act who will bring a great sense of fun to the town centre.
“I’d encourage adults and children alike to come down to the latest town centre event and see this unmissable act.”
Bolton’s local produce market will also take place on Sunday (28/3), from 10am until 2pm, in the square.
Shoppers can pick up the usual delights of meat, fruit and vegetables, pickles, spices, cakes including gluten free cakes and pancakes, plus handmade cards and soaps.
Walmsley Church Operatic Society will be promoting their Baker’s Wife production and will have French bread and croissants on offer.
Bourbon Street Roof Raisers, a Dixieland jazz band, will play to the crowds from 11am to 1pm.
