Vampires and ghosts are taking over Bolton this October, with a whole range of talks, walks and events based around the supernatural.
At Queen’s Park, there will be a special supernatural walk, ‘Spooked In The Park’ on Sunday October 31st between 6pm – 8pm. Families and children over 7 can join the Ranger and his intrepid team of ghost hunters for an evening wander and be spooked by the haunted happenings in this park. There will also be Halloween themed crafts and activities before the walk, which will be supported by the Greater Manchester police. All children must be accompanied by an adult and Halloween costumes can be worn.
For families with a passion for the paranormal, Bolton’s historic Hall i’ th’ Wood Museum and Smithills Hall are the places to be.
Hall I’ Th Wood is hosting a Halloween Hoots day on Saturday 23 October between 1pm and 4pm, which includes spooky crafts, quizzes and ghost stories. Cost is £2 for adults and £1 for children and booking is not necessary.
