Shaun the Sheep flocks to Bolton for Easter

Come along and enjoy the fun this Easter as children’s TV character Shaun the Sheep comes to town.

Young people and the young at heart will enjoy the ‘Championsheeps Live’ event, a family-focused ‘sports day’ featuring characters from the much-loved BBC show. Different challenges will have everyone hopping, bouncing, and rolling around a farmyard.

Games will include ‘Cabbage Keepie Uppie’ when people can use their football skills to keep the Farmer’s prize cabbage out of the mud; and ‘Flock n’ Roll’ were teams compete to roll a giant Shirley around a maze.

The event has featured around the country, including Cornwall’s Eden Project where it drew 40,000 visitors.

Bolton’s Championsheeps will take place on Easter Monday 1 April on Victoria Square, between 11am-5pm.

‘Shaun the Sheep and friends’ are creations of the world-famous, Oscar-winning Aardman Animations studio watched by millions of children on the CBBC channel. The studio also created ‘Wallace and Gromit’.
