Budding chefs are invited to enter recipes into two categories: meat and vegetarian for the chance to win tickets for the Hairy Bikers’ cookery demonstration, in Victoria Square, on Saturday, August 27.
Winners will get to meet and have their photo taken with celebrity chefs Si King and Dave Myers.
The winning dishes will also feature on the school meals’ menu next year.
Bolton Council’s Executive Member for Environmental Services, Councillor Akhtar Zaman, said: “Some people may have a favourite recipe or a dish that’s been in the family for many years that they think sums up Bolton. All you need to do is tell us the ingredients and how you’d make the dish. It’s also a chance to see the Hairy Bikers in action and get to meet them personally.”
To enter, submit your recipe online - link on the right hand side.
The competition closes Friday, August 12 and winners will be notified by Friday, August 19.
Winners must be available to attend on Saturday, August 27 at 3pm.
