From next week, Blackhorse Street will be temporarily closed, as part of a £0.5 million road improvement scheme to open the road to two-way traffic and improve traffic flow in Bolton.
Blackhorse Street, from Morrisons to Great Moor Street, will be closed from Monday, February 18 for three weeks while Bolton Council and utility companies complete the work.
While road works are carried out access. to Morrisions will not be affected and a diversion will be in place for all other traffic along Moor Lane and around Ormrod Street.
Every effort has been made to minimise disruption and motorists are asked to be patient whilst the works and diversions are in place.
