Return of the MAC

Bolton Council’s MAC (Mobile Advice Centre) is back in various locations around Bolton again from 26-30 July, offering free advice to residents on how to ensure they are receiving the correct benefits.

The MAC regularly tours Bolton as part of the council’s campaign to help residents receive up to date benefits information for their individual circumstances. The team staffing the mobile centre will try to identify potential entitlement by carrying out quick checks and will also provide support to complete any claim forms. Anyone who wants free advice on benefit entitlements can call in and see the team between 9.30am and 3.30pm.

Visitors to the MAC will be able get confidential and free advice on a range of welfare benefits including, housing benefit, council tax benefit, pension credit, attendance allowance and disability living allowance.

MAC will be visiting the following locations:

 Monday 26 July - Brackley St, Farnworth

Tuesday 27 July - Victoria Square

Wednesday 28 July – Morrison’s, Harwood

Thursday 29 July - Bolton Market

Friday 30 July – Morrison’s, Atlas Mills
