Bolton residents who want a say in next year’s local elections are being advised to make sure they are registered to vote.
Voter registration forms have been posted to all households for residents to check their personal details.
Any residents who wish to amend their details should post the form back in the prepaid envelope.
Residents who have no amends to make are still requested to get in touch by phoning the free number or visiting the website as stated on their form.
Forms should be returned as soon as possible to ensure a place on the new electoral register.
Failure to respond to the form will result in a reminder notice being sent and residents who still haven’t responded by the time the register is published on December 1 could forfeit their right to vote.
Anyone who hasn’t already received a form or has any queries regarding their details should contact 01204 338024.
