Street entertainers who have performed as far afield as Australia and Japan are coming to Bolton on Saturday (February 5).
The Grand Theatre of Lemmings company is bringing its ostrich show to Victoria Square.
Two performers will ride a pair of wacky ostriches through the town centre, entertaining shoppers along the way.
There are three 30-minute shows at noon, 1pm and 2pm.
Following the success of Saturday entertainment over the last two years, Bolton Council has organised a variety of acts over the next few months to encourage more visitors to the town.
This free show is the latest performance being laid on by Bolton Council to boost town centre footfall and trade.
Bolton Council’s Executive Member for Development and Regeneration, Councillor Ismail Ibrahim, said: “This show should be great fun for the audience and hopefully boost business as well. The Lemmings have performed all over the world and we hope to get a good audience like we have for the other shows.”
