The new Deane Road multi-storey car park opens on Monday, November 30.
The six-storey facility, which has 805 spaces, is the first project to be completed in the Innovation Zone.
The car park has been constructed by National Car Parks as part of a joint deal with Bolton Council. Work is also underway to build a car park on Topp Way, which is expected to be ready in February.
Motorists can enter the car park from either Wellington Street and Stanley Street, and exit onto Wellington Street. Two electronic signs to the entrance lanes will also notify motorists how many parking spaces are available.
Car park users are being advised to take care while construction on the nearby joint Bolton Community and Sixth Form College campus is underway.
The car park is barrier controlled and motorists need to pay on exit, by taking their chip to the two payment machines located in the pedestrian lobby on the ground floor.
The facility is open 24 hours a day and contains 48 designated disabled bays, 20 parent and toddler parking bays and 737 standard bays.
Councillor John Byrne, Bolton Council's Executive Member for Development, said: "This is a significant landmark for the Innovation Zone, and it signals that work within the zone is well and truly underway. We hope that providing safe and secure car parking will also bring in new visitors."
Mike McNeil, NCP’s Bolton Manager, added: "Both the Deane Road and Topp Way NCP sites are great examples of the way car parks of the future need to be built. Modern and bright with low visual and environmental impact. We look forward to the opening."
Tariffs start at £1.40 for the first hour with a four hour stay costing £3.40. Contract parking is also available. For more information ring NCP, on 0207 5101637.
