Mayor holds charity music evening

The Mayor and Mayoresses of Bolton will be holding a charity concert evening on Saturday April 18 at Stepping Stones Nursery.

Tickets are now on sale at £10 per ticket.

Proceeds from the evening will be donated to the Mayor’s chosen charities including Rheumatoid Arthritis, Bolton Hospice, Lagans Foundation & Bolton Deaf Society.

Guitarist Robin Hill will be performing flamenco, jazz and classical pieces and has played alongside Luciano Pavarotti, Lesley Garrett and Russell Watson.

Councillor Martin Donaghy, Mayor of Bolton said: “I am delighted to be hosting this concert and excited that Robin has agreed to help us by performing here in Bolton. He has played to audiences all over the world and I’m sure he will put on a marvellous show. I’d encourage everyone to come along and help us raise money for some worthy charities.”
