The Mayor and Mayoress of Bolton, Councillor Colin Shaw and Mrs Dee Shaw are holding two public events over the coming months to raise money for key charities.
The first event is a Macmillan Coffee Morning which will be held in the Mayour’s Parlour, Bolton Town Hall, on Friday 27 September.
Bolton residents are invited for coffee and cakes between 10.30am and 12 noon on Friday. A coffee and a cake will cost just £1.50 and all funds will be donated to the Macmillian Cancer Appeal. There is no need to book, simply attend at the Town Hall.
On Thursday 17 October, ladies are invited to a Mayoress’ Afternoon Tea, also being held in the Mayor’s Parlour.
Guests will be offered a glass of sparkling wine, followed by a traditional afternoon tea in the Banqueting Suite. The event starts at 2pm. Tickets are £15 each and all funds raised will be donated to the Mayor’s Charity Appeal.
