Mature drivers' seminar returns

Drivers aged 50 and over have another opportunity this year to attend a free mature drivers’ seminar on Tuesday, March 9.

The event will take place at the Bolton Arena from 10am to noon and is aimed at drivers who feel they would benefit from a refresher on safer driving techniques.

The session will include a presentation on these techniques and a copy of the Highway Code will be given out to each delegate on the day.

The seminars are arranged by Bolton Council in partnership with Bolton Advanced Motorists. Places are limited so to book a place call Bolton Council’s Road Safety Team on the number above.

Bookings will be confirmed in writing and will include a seminar programme and directions to the Bolton Arena.

No driving is required on the day, but everyone attending will be offered the chance to book a free follow-up driving assessment, at a later date, in their own car. Drivers can select either a bronze, silver or gold level of assessment, which will be carried out by Bolton Advanced Motorists.

Refreshments will be provided at the event.
