A packed programme of events awaits visitors to Bolton’s Albert Halls next month.
The month of March at the town’s top entertainment venue is the busiest of the year so far with no less than 11 different shows or events.
Roaring in at the start of the month, on Tuesday, March 2, is the not-to-be-missed Circus of Horrors, which offers a bizarre and daring collection of characters led by ringmaster Dr Haze.
The pace is upheld by comedian Dave Gorman on Wednesday, March 17 with his Sit Down, Pedal, Pedal, Stop and Stand Up show.
Originally cycling from gig to gig, Dave’s show was so successful in 2009 that he has extended the run into 2010 – minus the bike!
Taking up the pedal power, however, is Mark Beaumont – The Man who Cycled the World on Thursday, March 18.
The adventurer tells audiences of his epic journey, cycling 18,000 miles around the world, notching up 100 miles per day for over half a year.
Musical highlights throughout March include The Cavern Beatles playing at the Mayor’s Charity Dinner on Friday, March 19; Big Girls Don’t Cry featuring the Eastcoast Boys on Saturday, March 20 and Bolton Music Centre Presents…from Sunday, March 21 to Thursday March 25.
After a wild start, March at the Albert Halls ends on a calm note with Noddy in Toyland for the little ones on Wednesday, March 31.
All the favourite characters will be there, such as Big Ears, Mr Plod and Bumpy Dog.
Another date for the diary is the Albert Halls wedding open day on Saturday, March 27.
The magnificent town centre venue is ideal for the perfect wedding reception and civil ceremony.
Experienced and friendly event managers will be on hand to give expert advice on the big day, along with florists, photographers, cake makers and more.
