The University of Bolton and Bolton Council have joined forces to bring local companies together with organisations that can help them grow.
From workforce training opportunities to support available for cutting carbon footprints, experts will be on hand at the Let’s Talk Business networking event.
The event will be held on Tuesday May 25 from 6pm to 9pm at the Lion of Vienna Suite, De Vere Whites Hotel, Reebok Stadium, Horwich.
Business Link Northwest, Groundwork and the University of Bolton will give presentations on the night. The council’s business support service, Business Bolton, and the University will also be there to offer assistance, specialist advice and individual support to organisations whilst also being on hand to facilitate networking opportunities.
Andy Smith, Head of Commercial Enterprise at the University, said: "In the current economic climate there are still opportunities for businesses to develop and grow. With Business Bolton we have identified funded opportunities which could be of great benefit to companies looking to develop."
Councillor John Byrne, Bolton Council’s Executive Member for Development and Regeneration, added: "The council has held a number of really successful events for local businesses to help them through the economic climate. It’s great to team up with the University to provide businesses with the opportunity to access invaluable advice and support."
