Young people aged 11-18 have until April 9 to vote for their two favourite youth MPs in this year’s Youth MP elections.
Bolton’s two elected MPs will take their place in the national UK Youth Parliament group.
Candidates have recently taken part in a debate on Bolton FM to tackle the issues that affect young people in a bid to show their suitability as the next Bolton Youth MP.
In addition, the eight candidates have prepared a one minute online speech about what they hope to achieve for young people in Bolton.
None of the candidates will represent a political party as the UK Youth Parliament is independent from party politics. Instead they will stand for issues that affect young people in Bolton.
Young people can visit the Connexions website using the link on the right hand side to vote and view footage of each candidate’s speeches.
The result will be announced on April 15.
