The UK’s king of the one liner is bringing his laughter-fuelled joke train to the Bolton Albert Halls.
Tim Vine, star of the hit television shows Live at the Apollo and Not Going Out, has added extra dates to his Joke-amotive tour for 2011, including a visit to Bolton on April 2.
The additional performances were added following a total sell-out UK tour and a superb appearance at the Edinburgh Festival this summer.
After winning the Perrier Newcomer award in 1995 for a successful Edinburgh Fringe appearance, Tim not only continued to tour successfully, but also briefly held the world record for the most jokes told in one hour, telling 499 in October 2004.
Described by the Guardian as “superb, as clever as anything being done today”, Tim bombards the audience with gags, puns and surreal interludes. Anyone who sees him leaves with a broad grin, and hundreds of new one-liners to try out for themselves.
Tickets for the show cost £17, and are on sale now. For tickets or further information, call the box office on 01204 334400 or visit the Bolton Albert Halls website.
