The Mayor of Bolton, Councillor Norman Critchley, will be holding a Lancashire dinner and entertainment evening on Thursday 26 November.
The event starts at 7.30pm and is being held to mark Lancashire Day. It will take place at the Hunting Lodge at Smithills Coaching House, Smithills Dean Road.
A four-course dinner of black pudding or pea soup, Lancashire hot pot and mushy peas, apple pie and cream along with coffee and mints will be served. There is also a vegetarian option of Cheese pie.
Lancashire themed entertainment will be provided by Sid Calderbank and his band after dinner, who will perform local songs in a Lancashire dialect.
Tickets are £18.50 and are available from the Mayor’s office in Bolton Town Hall. Cheques should be made payable to The Mayor’s Charity Appeal.
