Bolton Olympian Jason Kenny will join us at Sky Ride on June 7

Great Britain Cycling Team’s, Jason Kenny will be joining us at Sky Ride Bolton, as thousands of people are set to descend on the town for a fantastic traffic-free bike ride on Sunday 7 June.

One of fifteen major events taking place across the country this summer, Sky Ride Bolton is set to be a fantastic day out for all the family. With loads of free things to do and try out on the day, including the ‘Tricks & Tunes’ area and the chance to meet Jason Kenny, we’re rolling out a real festival atmosphere. It doesn’t matter how old you are, how old your bike is, or how fast you ride – there will be something for everyone to enjoy.

Bolton Council’s Cabinet Member for Culture and Youth, Cllr John Byrne, said: “Sky Ride is a fantastic event and we’re delighted to welcome it back to Bolton once again. It’s a great way of encouraging people to get involved in cycling, no matter what level of ability. As a keen cyclist myself I will be taking part again, as I do each year, and I would urge families to join us in the town centre on June 7 for a fun-filled day of traffic-free cycling and entertainment.
