An international food, gifts and crafts market is returning to Bolton.
Market Place Europe Limited, one of the UK’s leading special event market companies, is bringing its award winning continental market to Victoria Square from Thursday, October 23 to Sunday, October 26.
A range of produce from across the globe will be available including cakes, cheeses, and Moroccan Street Food. Fashion and craft stalls will sell everything from handmade cardigans, hats, and scarves to wooden sculptures and furniture.
Trading times are from 9am to 5.30pm and 10am to 4pm on Sunday.
Organisers of the market have held previous successful events in Bolton and this event follows the council’s successful food and frink festival in August.
Cabinet Member for Community Services, Cllr Sufrana Bashir-Ismail, said: “The food and drink festival was a massive success attracting around 150,000 visitors.
“The global market will once again bring a great selection of traders to the town centre, selling a range of delicious foods, gifts and crafts. The market is always popular with residents and visitors, and it brings a real international flavour to the town.”
Market Place Operations Manager, Chris Hulley, added: “Our traders shall be presenting Bolton a great experience and an exciting selection of flavours from all across the globe offering something for the whole family. It shall definitely be the place to be.”
