An award winning global market is set to bring a real international flavour to Bolton town centre this week.
Starting on Thursday, March 21, traders from around the world will set up stalls in Victoria Square and shoppers can enjoy their wares until Sunday, March 24.
Trading times will be Thursday to Saturday from 9am to 5.30pm and Sunday from 10am to 4pm.
Traders from all over the globe will be selling a fine array of products typical of their country or region.
There will be exotic meats from around the world; Italian biscotti, cakes and soft nougat; and traditional bratwurst sausage from Germany, all washed down with German beer.
Some other favourites include George the Greek, selling Greek breads, taramasalata, humous, olives and stuffed vine leaves; Jimmy Beans with a selection of flavoured coffee beans and exotic loose leaf teas and a new French master baker, who will be baking fresh bread and French tarts regularly throughout each day.
There will also be fair trade African arts and crafts, wooden crafts and carvings from Kenya and Bali, and a huge array of plants, shrubs, trees and bulbs.
