Bolton Council will be holding the annual Get Active event at Queens Park on Sunday July 29 from 12pm to 4pm.
Activities include a mobile climbing wall, a high ropes challenge, orienteering, yoga taster sessions, sharp shooting and zumba.
Volunteers can also take part in Lancashire Wildlife Trust’s Mud to Muscle Project, and learn about their local green spaces or get a free health check, advice on healthy eating and a healthy cooking demo from Bolton PCT.
There will also be a mini music festival, traditional children’s funfair, face painting, henna painting, Indian head massage and trips around the park on a stagecoach, as well as Greater Manchester Fire Service’s annual Open Day with vintage fire engines and displays.
A variety of street performers will entertain the crowds including Gareth Jones: Escapologist and London 1220, a medieval take on the Olympic Games!
