A free community event will take place at Little Lever High School this Saturday (July 16).

Little Lever Community Family Fun Day takes place from 11am until 3pm, and gives families the chance to enjoy a range of activities including: a bungee trampoline; bouncy castle; and variety of children’s rides.

Live entertainment will be provided by pupils from local primary schools and Little Lever School, local bands and Bolton FM.

Local dance schools will showcase Zumba dancing and offer free Zumba and step classes. With a tombola, a range of stalls, arts and crafts, and face painting, the day will provide something for everyone.

As well as the wide range of entertainment, the event will also offer refreshments including hot and cold beverages, hot dogs, ice cream and candy floss.

Bolton Council’s Executive Member for Children’s Services, Councillor Nick Peel, said: “This kind of event can really bring whole communities together, and provides a fun and free range of activities for all the family. I would encourage as many local people to head along to Little Lever High School as possible.”
