More free workshops to help residents manage their finances are being held this month.
Due to the large uptake of the sessions held in June, Bolton Council’s Money Skills team are offering budgeting and debt management sessions as well as dealing with debt workshops.
The budgeting and debt management sessions will look at the issues around prioritising debts and improving budgeting skills.
These will take place on August 14 from 9.30am to 12noon at Leverhulme Park Community Club, Long Lane and August 18 from 6.30pm to 9pm at Bright Meadows Children’s Centre, Greenroyd Avenue.
The dealing with debt workshops will focus on looking at the consequences of non payment and understanding the importance of contacting creditors.
These are on August 21 from 9.30am to 12noon at Leverhulme Park Community Club and August 25 from 6.30pm to 9pm at Bright Meadows Children’s Centre.
Personal information is not needed as case studies are used in the workshops.
