Bolton Council’s mobile advice centre will be in the town centre next week.
Based in Victoria Square from Monday, October 3 to Friday, October 7, the centre will provide visitors with confidential and free advice on a range of welfare benefits including, housing benefit, council tax benefit, pension credit, attendance allowance and disability living allowance.
Staff provide free advice and try to identify potential entitlement by carrying out quick checks and will also provide support to complete claim forms.
The mobile centre regularly tours Bolton as part of the council’s campaign to help residents receive up to date benefits information and to ensure people are getting the benefits that they are entitled to.
The mobile advice centre will be open from 9.30am until 3pm.
