Bolton Council’s Mobile Advice Centre (MAC) is back in various locations around Bolton in October.
The MAC regularly tours Bolton as part of the council’s campaign to help residents receive up to date benefits information for their individual circumstances.
Visitors to the MAC will be able get confidential and free advice on a range of welfare benefits including, housing benefit, council tax benefit, pension credit, attendance allowance and disability living allowance.
The team staffing the mobile centre will try to identify potential entitlement by carrying out quick checks and will also provide support to complete claim forms.
The MAC will be visiting the following locations: Monday October 11 – Lidl, Westhoughton; Tuesday October 12 - Bolton Market, Ashburner Street; Wednesday October 13 – Asda, Astley Bridge; Thursday October 14 - Victoria Square and Friday October 15 – Brackley St, Farnworth.
Anyone who wants free advice on benefit entitlements can call in and see the team between 9.30am and 3.30pm.
