A free community firework display and funfair will take place on Friday, October 31 at Leverhulme Park.
The fun starts at 6pm with the opening of the fair, which includes rides and some traditional favourites such as black peas, toffee apples and candy-floss.
At 8pm the Deputy Mayor, Cllr Colin Shaw, will start the fireworks and the night sky will be filled with a display of sights and sounds, as the fireworks explode to the accompaniment of music.
The event has been organised by Bolton Council in partnership with Bolton at Home.
Stewards will be present throughout the event, providing visitors with a safe environment to enjoy Bolton’s biggest and best firework display.

Bolton Council’s Cabinet Member for Community Services, Cllr Sufrana Bashir-Ismail, said: “This is a real community firework display. We’ve held this event for more than 20 years in the park and it’s very popular.
“Organised displays are the safest and best way to enjoy fireworks and we would urge people to attend an organised event such as this one.
“This is an event for all of the family, and sparks off our winter wonderland programme, which starts next month.”
The council’s festive programme includes the return of the giant wheel and ice rink in Victoria Square, and new this year is a 50 metre snow slide.
Families will also get the chance to see Santa in his grotto in the run up to Christmas.
