Shoppers can get into the festive spirit at the Mayor of Bolton’s Charity Christmas Fair on Saturday, November 28.
A large selection of stall holders will have Christmas gifts on offer, including hand-knitted toys, games, hand-crafted cards, decorations, calendars, stationery and cakes.
The fair will be held in the Festival Hall from 10am until 12.30pm. And for the only occasion during the year, visitors will be able to enter the town hall via the ceremonial steps.
Father Christmas, as well as other children’s characters, will also be making an appearance.
There will be an entrance fee of 50p and all proceeds from sales will go to a wide range of local and national charities chosen by the stall holders.
Funds from a giant raffle and tombola, run by former Bolton mayoresses and lady councillors will also contribute to the charities.
The Mayor of Bolton, Councillor Norman Critchley said: “The fair will provide good fun for all the family and will have many delights on offer, giving visitors a good start to their Christmas shopping.
“I hope that many people come to the fair and help support the large number of charities involved.”
