Has a member of council staff given outstanding service?
Or gone beyond the call of duty to help the public?
Residents can choose a member of council staff who they think has provided them with a good service for the Bolton’s Best awards. The awards celebrate and reward Bolton Council staff for the work they do to make a difference to the Bolton family.
The public can nominate any member of staff they feel has gone the extra mile to give them an excellent service for the Best Customer Care 2011 award. From social care and keeping streets clean to planning applications and licensing, the range of services provided by the council to the public is vast.
There are nine awards altogether with staff nominating colleagues or projects in the others. The Bolton’s Best Awards are sponsored by De Vere Whites hotel and Fujitsu so there is no cost to the council.
“I continue to be very impressed by staff across the organisation who are delivering quality services and improving outcomes for local people against a backdrop of a very difficult year for the council,” said Sean Harriss, Chief Executive of Bolton Council.
“Given this difficult context and the maintenance of high standards I believe that it is even more important to recognise the contribution that staff at all levels are making to the delivery of our objectives.
“Staff nominated last year really appreciated the recognition and I’d like to encourage members of the public to get involved and to nominate someone who has given them excellent service.”
To nominate go to the link on the right hand side of this page and search for Bolton’s Best or pick up a nomination form from the One Stop Shop in Bolton Town Hall.
Nominations close on Friday 16 September.
