Has a member of council staff given outstanding service?
Or gone beyond the call of duty to help the public?
Residents can choose a member of council staff, who they think has provided them with great service, for the Bolton’s Best awards. The awards celebrate and reward Bolton Council staff for the work they do to make a difference to the Bolton family.
You can nominate any member of staff, team, or project you feel has gone the extra mile to give an excellent service, for the Best Customer Care 2013 award, sponsored by the Bolton News. From social care and keeping streets clean to planning applications and licensing, the range of services provided by the council to the public is vast.
There are nine awards altogether with staff nominating colleagues, teams, or projects in the others.
“In these challenging times it’s even more important that we continue to motivate staff and recognise the contribution they make to deliver our objectives,” said Sean Harriss, Chief Executive of Bolton Council.
“Our Bolton’s Best awards are very important in achieving this by recognising and celebrating outstanding individuals, teams, and projects. I’m grateful for the help of our partners to enable us to organise the awards.”
To nominate fill in this form and email it to email@example.com or post it to Bolton’s Best Awards, Corporate Organisational Development Team, Bolton Council, The Castle Hill Centre, Castleton Street, Bolton, BL2 2JW.
To help with shortlisting and the final selection of our winners, people should give as much detail as possible about the person or team they are nominating within the word limit. This could be about their achievements, approach to colleagues, customers, work, change or challenges; how they meet the council’s key aims, their attitude and application in their roles which make them a great example for others and employees of which the council can be proud; what the qualities are that make them the ideal team member, manager, or team; or what they’ve done to provide excellent customer service.
Nominations closed on Friday September 20.
