Bolton residents are invited to come and join in a giant free cookery class this December.
The Greater Manchester Love Food Hate Waste campaign is encouraging food lovers to come and cook a simple, tasty and cheap meal using leftovers.
Greater Manchester residents are invited to brush up on their kitchen skills with TV chef Dave Mooney, Granada Tonight’s resident chef for over two years. All equipment and ingredients will be provided for the lessons and everyone will get to eat the dish they cook. Advice will be offered on how to save up to £50 a month and a food rescue pack will be given to each person, which includes the latest Love Food Hate Waste 2011 kitchen calendar with exciting recipes to use up those leftovers.
Bolton residents can register for a place at classes taking place on Wednesday 8th December. in Bolton, Brookfield Masonic Hall. The four classes available during each day will take place at 9:30 am to 11:30; 12:30 pm to 2:30 pm; 3:30 pm to 5:30 pm and 6:30 pm to 8:30 pm
