Connecting Crompton

Residents of Eskrick Street and Halliwell Road in Crompton can find out how to get involved in their local community at a special event called ‘Connecting Crompton Community’ on December 14.

The meeting will be held at St Joseph’s Church Hall, Hobart Street from 5pm to 7pm and will give people the opportunity to find out what is happening in the local area and how they can get involved.

The event will include information on future activities, as well as the opportunity for residents to talk to local service providers, such as the council’s children’s services and environmental services teams, the local police community safety officer, Bolton-based charity Community and Voluntary Services (CVS) and the NHS.

It will also include various activities which residents can get involved in on the evening, including dancing, karate, making gift boxes and a healthy cooking class
